From idea to field: how a IdroMOP product is born
Standards, procedures and reliability

At IdroMOP, every product is not simply an electronic device: it is the result of a rigorous process of research, design, testing, and field validation.
Each control unit is born from a real need of farmers and takes shape through a structured process that leads to a device ready to work in difficult conditions, ensuring constant reliability over time.

🌾 From need to design: listening to the field
It all comes from the daily lives of the farmers, farms, manufacturers, and retailers of agricultural machinery with whom we work every day.
The needs and critical issues of the field guide each of our projects: we listen, analyze, and transform needs into concrete solutions, defining the features that the new product will need to integrate to ensure real operational improvement.
🔧 Design, electronics and software: engineering at the service of reliability
Once the concept is defined, the development phase begins.
Hardware and software design takes place entirely in our laboratories, where each component is studied to ensure robustness, precision and business continuity.
Polycarbonate body, tropicalized electronics, optimized fuel consumption management, advanced connectivity: every choice is designed to withstand the wear, vibration, heat, rain and extreme conditions in which our devices operate every day.
📊 Internal testing: the IdroMOP standard
Before reaching customers, each control unit undergoes a series of rigorous tests that simulate real-world scenarios and critical conditions.
Our internal tests include:
- Communication and connectivity testing
- Vibration test
- Climate chamber testing
- Circuit testing
- Testing of correct electrical operation of the’ hardware
- Firmware functional testing
We also perform a simulation of prolonged use, essential to ensure a high quality standard and prevent any type of malfunction or critical issues.
🚜 Field validation: the final test
Once internal tests are completed, the prototypes are installed on real agricultural plants.
Here, feedback from our partners is crucial: it allows us to verify the device’s behavior under authentic and variable conditions, ensuring that the control unit meets operators’ expectations in every situation.
⚙️ Internal production: total control and constant quality
Once all the validation phases have passed, in-house production begins.
This is one of the elements that distinguishes IdroMOP: we oversee every phase, from assembly to programming, all the way to the final testing.
Each control unit is tested individually before leaving our laboratories, ensuring consistent quality and reliability over time.

🔁️ From the laboratory to the field: a cycle that never ends
For us, a product is never “completely finished”.
Software updates, new features, technical improvements, and continuous feedback from the field fuel a constant innovation cycle.
It is this approach that allows us to evolve year after year and offer solutions that are increasingly robust, intelligent and close to the needs of farmers.
