How does it work?
From the IdroMOP portal www.id4irrigation.com the Smart Irrigation section can be accessed from the menu.
To obtain Smart Irrigation, it is necessary for the user to have an account with the company profile approved by IdroMOP.


Thereafter, he must have subscribed to ID4 Smart Irrigation.
Initially, the user follows a guided path where they can look up the land address and manually draw the boundaries on the map, making sure to draw a closed geometric shape.
It is important that the land area does not exceed the acres provided in the subscription.

ID4 Smart Irrigation for each plot entered provides:
- Vegetation indices
- Soil moisture and temperature
- The history of meteorological data
- The weather forecast
Advanced Monitoring of Vegetation Indices.
One of the distinctive elements of our Smart Irrigation is the ability to monitor and calculate vegetation indices accurately. With our system, vegetative trends of crops can be observed, using indices such as NDVI, EVI and EVI2 . These tools allow plant health to be analyzed over a time frame ranging from 1 to 6 months, enabling more efficient management of water resources. In this way, the farmer can take timely action to improve crop yields and reduce waste by ensuring the right amount of water is supplied to crops.

Real-Time Measurement of Soil Moisture and Temperature.
Our system provides real-time measurements of soil moisture and temperature. These data are essential for understanding the real water needs of crops and avoiding both water shortage and excess. ID4 measures soil surface moisture and temperature as well as at 10 cm depth for a complete overview of soil conditions. With these tools, the farmer can plan irrigation in a highly targeted manner, increasing soil efficiency and productivity.

Historical and Weather Forecasting: A Competitive Advantage
Another key feature of our system is the ability to display historical weather data. Farmers can view data regarding temperature, humidity, precipitation and other climate variables on an hourly basis for a given period. This feature allows them to make more accurate analyses of past weather trends and improve agricultural decisions.
In addition, ID4 Smart Irrigation provides detailed weather forecasts every 3 hours for the next 5 days, including information on temperature, rainfall, humidity, cloudiness, and atmospheric pressure. This data is critical for proactively planning irrigation and responding promptly to weather changes, such as sudden rains or heat waves, that could affect crops.
